Recent Charnwood Installations

Here we have some pictures of recent stove installations by Stove Living featuring Charnwood Stoves. The first property did not have a chimney breast – no problem, we simply built one to house the Cove 2 in Almond colour with matching stove pipe.

The Charnwood C-Five is one of our most popular stoves and looks good whether within a chimney, or freestanding.

Dovre 2000 in a Large Inglenook

No job too big or too small

Here we have pictures of an installation of a Dovre 2000 multi-fuel stove – with its cast iron doors it can be operated with the doors open to provide a perfect “open fire” look.

This installation was completed within a single week: first we removed the smaller open chimney breast; once this was gone we built the sides and back of the large inglenook, which when completed measured 4 meters from side to side. Once the solid oak decorative beam was in place we started work on the herringbone brickwork for the fire to sit in front of.

The final image shows the completed installation with the Dovre 2000, along with a bread oven, wine rack and wood store.

Heat Two Rooms With a Double-sided Stove

Stove Living recently installed a Rais 2:1 double-sided inset stove, allowing two rooms to be heated simultaneously from the same stove.

The existing gas fire was removed and a stud chimney breast was created from fire-proof board.  A feature log store was built in each of the two rooms.

Here are photographs of the stove, taken from each room, along with a “work in progress” image.

No Chimney? No Problem!

We have said before that wood-burning stoves can be fitted almost anywhere in your home with no need for a chimney.

The images here show some recent installations where the absence of a chimney was not a problem. Almost any woodburner can be fitted in this manner – contact us or pop into the showroom and we’ll be happy to discuss the available options.

Customise your own Rais Viva L Stove

The circular Viva L range of stoves are true proponents of the elegant and minimalist: simple, smooth and beautiful. A pane of massive proportions and a large combustion chamber bring even more pleasure from the fires – and are also super easy to install.

The new, redesigned damper handle is given a discrete placement at a convenient height, and a coating in rubber makes it pleasant to hold. A door in steel is a true symbol of a classic wood-burning stove.

The versions without damper handle radiates sublime simplicity – air regulation here is entrusted to CleverAir to ensure optimal heating.

A host of options to choose among: colours, side glass, top plates, heat storage, swivel base, handle – these are all elements where there are plenty of different choices to fit your own interior decoration and to make your stove unique.
